I like the size of the book. It's big enough to hold up and read to several children. The message is excellent!

    Wonderful Book!

Published by Mihaela Corcinschi on Nov 10th 2023

I highly recommend this book both as a mother and as a Sunday School teacher at St. Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It can be a very appropriate baptism gift for a child, also a Christmas gift or a great book for the Sunday School class. I love that it is pretty large with beautiful pictures, it has few sentences on each page, but with a lot of meaning and in this way, we can keep the story short for the smaller kids or we can open discussions with the bigger kids. I like the title of the book, which challenges us immediately! It happens, that some of the children, even though they go to church for many years, they still don't know exactly who they are. It's amazing that the author was able to write in a few words what it means to be Orthodox and give the example of our saints who were regular people like teachers, doctors, mothers, etc. and at the end of the book there's a glossary with a short description of the life of each saint that was depicted in the pictures. Simply wonderful!

The artwork is beautiful, and the text is both appropriate and meaningful for all ages - children and adults.
